It is a Slow drying Rust Preventive Oil that forms a thin protective Layer on the treated surface. It provides long term protection, enhances surface lustre by its attractive finish. It retains factory fresh appearance of the product. It is a transparent fluid. Elephant Brand Rust Preventive Oil is useful for long term protection of all spare parts, Jigs, Dies, Molds, Hack-saw blades, knives, tools, hardware, casting, forgings, chains, stamping, any metal or machinery items during storage or transit.
RPO-21 Rust Preventive Oil provides effective protection against rust on to the work-pieces during short-term storage in between operations. Quickly displaces moisture, penetrates to loosen the corrosion, cleans and lubricates moving parts. Nonflammable and nonconductive up to 1000 volts. When the work-piece is dipped in the oil the water adhering to the metal surface gets dislodged by a thin layer of this product. After application, the solvent evaporates, leaving a soft grease like protective Coating on the metal surface.
- Corrosion Prevention: These fluids are based on Hydro-Carbon Solvents and contain selective High Quality Corrosion Prevention Inhibitors for Long Term Corrosion Protection.
- Water Displacement & Capillary Effect: These enable complete water displacements and have excellent capillary effects ensuring 100% displacement of moisture.
- Finger Print Neutralizing Effect: Finger print impressions during handling which are corrosive are neutralized.

- First remove the dirt/rust/grease/moisture etc from the metal surface.
- Apply RPO-21 through brush, Dipping or Spray on the clean surface.
